Oh, those hamstrings! And….breathe!

Doesn’t it seem that each time we begin our practice, our hamstrings act as if this were the first time we’ve ever practiced? Of course there is a physiological reason for this, our muscles recovering each nite as we sleep. Over time, what you will notice is that the hamstrings will respond more rapidly to your request that they stretch for you. The tightness will be there, but your range of stretch will gradually increase and more quickly with each practice session.

As you may have guessed, our practice this week will focus on our hamstrings and using our breath to maximize our stretch. Please join us Monday October 28 from 6:30-8:00 pm in the sanctuary of the UU Church of Fresno. All levels are welcomed!
