Our “dog days of summer” this year are delightful!

Living in Central California since 1979, I have come to expect and tolerate hot summers. Just a part of life here, like the winter Tule fog, after a time you just adjust. Living with and in nature, I have worked on living seasonally. This year has been different as the season of summer has been atypical for this area. Sure we’ve had some days well over 100 degrees, but very few. The mornings have felt like Fall was coming, when clearly, Fall is in the future. I am offering my thoughts of gratitude for this lovely season.
You have many options for your yoga practice here in Fresno/Clovis. Consider spending sometime with us on Monday Nites from 6:30-8:00pm at the UU Church of Fresno on Alluvial in Clovis. Come enjoy this lovely space as the summer evenings slowly give way to Fall. We will have our practice on Labor Day, September 5, 2011.
